A Versatile Entertainer
Helene of Norway is one of the most sought-after and media covered bellydancers in Norway, performing across the continents.
She har performed in more than 15 different countries such as Egypt, Turkey, Singapore, USA, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Portugal, Crete and many more.
After teaching at various studios for a number of years she opened the doors to Studio Orient, the largest oriental dance studio in Norway, in 2005. In 2006 she organized the first Oslo Oriental Dance Festival, which is an annual event. She is one of the most media covered dancers in Norway and was a semifinalist in Norway's Got Talent in 2015. She has made appearances on the first season of the Norwegian So You Think You Can Dance, Charmschool and Identity on TV Norge, aswell as the Norwegian "Dancing with the Stars" on TV2. She has previously worked as a dancer in Turkey and has over 25 years experience as a danceinstructor and more than 20 years experience in oriental dance. Helene works with several other dancers and musicians and is the first oriental dancer in Norway to have two oriental music albums dedicated to her dance, "Helenes raks sharki" and "Helenes raks sharki vol 3" by Mustapha Dahir Orchestra.
She has performed live with Turkish pop icon Ibrahim Tatlises in Oslo, and even performed for His Magesty the King of Norway.
She has also made the first instructional dvd with Norwegian speach, "Magedans med Helene".
